Hi Everyone, My names Phil and looking for some help with a project I am working on. I am currently going to school for my MBA and this semester for one of the classes we have to create some sort of product. What I have decided to do is create a datalogger for your phone. But unlike the few out there this will have more of a community focus to the design along with clear actionable analytics for the drive to view.

At this point in time we haven't really started creating anything but mainly been trying to understand what everyones pain points are and what features they wish to have in such application. With that I have a short survey that i hope for people to fill out that gives me basic info on what platform to develop on first and how ofter people race. Along with if anyone wishes to help out in further phases of the development process (features, layout of the info, alpha and beta testers, etc.)

Without taking survey yet, I feel like there are lots of datalogging apps for phones.

For track use, Harry's Lap Timer should be your benchmark.

Edit: Nevermind, understand its purpose. Still feel like this box has been checked by Harrys lap timer, but cheers to building a better one! Will take survey

 

I agree Greyout, there are a bunch of apps in the market today that kinda cover this and Harrys is the main one that we are benchmarking against. However I feel like creating a community around it while you are at the track and allowing you to interact more with the data after the day could differentiate it.
