Default Looking for AZ/SoCal Drivers

Are there any local AZ/SoCal drivers out there? Just want to touch bases and see about what are events in the area that I should not miss.

noticed in the other thread that you were looking to autox as well....
phoenix area: http://www.azsolo2.com
tucson area: http://www.azbrscca.org
sierra vista: http://www.sierrasportscars.net

check the schedules for event dates. typically they're all on different weekends, so you could do 3 a month.

Drop me an e-mail if you haven't already. I'll be in SV next weekend, and Tucson the following weekends. conekiller@earthlink.net

On a side note, is anything going on the weekend of Nov. 23-24 in the Phoenix/Suprise areas? (edit, re-read the Vintage post). How far is PIR from Suprise?

There is going to be a NASA (HPDE-Race what you broung, just need a helmet) race on the 22-24 of November. Friday is test and tune for race only cars and 23 they will have a practice HPDE race (for newbies--ie. ME). My car is ready to go so I will definitely try to make this race. Is anyone alse going to this race. Would be kinda cool to hook up with some one up there (it will be my first race).

There's a lot of golf that has to be played while I'm there, but I'll see if I can break away and come see the track. PIR or Firebird?

http://www.nasaproracing.com

To race both Sat and Sun for HPDE (first timers) it will cost around $260 . But don't fret... for Sat OR Sun it will only cost $170. Price for transponders ($40), is already included in the prices stated above. Send me an e-mail if you decide to go it will be cool to hook up.
