"lipstick" or "bullet" cameras are typically used in CCTV and security systems. Check with local security companies or suppliers. You can get them in B&W or color. You can also get other types of cameras as well.
Some of those board cameras are really cheap. I guess if you don't need it to be in that metal casing you can save some bucks. The lowest I saw for a B&W board camera was $29.
