Koni Help!
i have a 1991 Civic STD. This past weekend i did an engine swap and installed some Koni SPSS w/ Ground control springs. The problem i am having is that the axles are clicking when you turn the wheel hard. I raised it up as far i could and it still did it. After that i installed the stock shocks with the GC's and i goes fine. Is it too much of an angle for the axles or lowered too much? What can I do to fix it?

No the ride height is not the same its higher with the Koni's. SPSS Koni's are shortented vs just having coilovers in with the stock shocks. I was just wondering how low is too low for the axles or if anyone had this same problem.

if you swapped in different shocks, and the ride height is the same, why would different shocks matter?</TD></TR></TABLE>

I can't see how the Konis can be having this effect. You must have changed something even in the basic instaltion process that you didn't pick up on. Axle clicks are a rotational thing and whatever shocks you have don't have any effect on something rotational. I have never done a B16A installation but I have also never had any axle clicks other than a bad CV joint regardless of ride height.
Are the raxles new or used?
I've had raxles on my DA for something like 6-8yrs now and generally I have been very satisfied with them. However I had to replace them twice. First time was after about 4yrs of use, the boots wore out. No clicking, just worn boots from the car being lowered quite a bit. Raxles replaced these free of charge.
Soon after my first axle replacement the clicking started. I think I just got a bad set. Again, they replaced them for free.
If I were you I'd get in touch with raxles.

I talked to Chris at Red Shift and he suggested I make a new upper mount. Basically the opposite of the extended top mount. So I can gain some ride height back.
no offense, but the suspension is not your issue. How many cars have been lowered with how many setups without causing issues?
I have a better question for you... Why not use the 2G teg axles? Way cheaper, and that will help identify the issue. Even grab a set from a junkyard to test it. But I would put money on it not being your suspension causing the axles to click. Lots and lots or American dollars.

I think it has to do with ride height.
