No there is still just one SRX-7 class. IT7 is not a spec class, but simply ITA-spec RX-7's and their drivers who, as I've been told, "want a chance to win a trophy."
The decision was made to run the class before the recent major class adjustments in ITA, and hopefully will bring back a number of cars/drivers that have either been mothballed or running just enough events to keep a license.
They will be running w/ ITA and I hope that, given the recent adjustments, if they prove to be competitive that IT7 will be a one-year experiment that was found to no longer be necessary.

If they were runing ITA, and are running in the ITA run group, who cares whats on the side of the car?
I'm sorry they are pansys who feel the need a trophy, but it will likely have little net effect.
Marcus, who an IT*A* first gen 7.
