well guys, it was damn worth the drive. i got to sample 3 awesome cars today. Z06, 2003 996 TT, and 2003 996 C4S. drove the z06 6/10th. 996 TT 6/10th. the C4S 9.5/10th. awesome machines. cars are getting well engineered now days.
the club name was motorsports club of beverly hills and it was no joke. 6 or 7 996 TT, few E46 M3, 3 F360, F360 Challenge, F550, F575!, and other cool rides.
pix and a more detail write up later.

gave the NSX a quick wash before leaving... it was so dirty. the side profile really does remind me of F16 sometimes. as i wish the car I always appreicate the nice curves it has.
posing with the bad boy i drove. the car spanking new too, Sean just bought it last week and it only has like 800 miles. props to him for tracking it with out hesitation!
there were atleast 6-7 996 TT's...
two of the people i helped out, Dan with his C4S, and Sean with his TT. i drove the C4S at willow springs at 9.5/10th after just couple of laps. the car is SO impressive. light steering wheel, very tossable, awesome grip. i left the stability control on and just throw that thing in the corners. it builds so much confidence, you can do no wrong. i can see why japanese AWD cars like Lancer Evo's, WRX, and Skylines get prised for insane cornering ability. AWD just makes it that much easier.
Compare that to 91 NSX (manual steering) which after driving back to back... is so much more work, and you need to really be careful with your inputs to not upset the car. C4S is no slouch neither, tops 130 mph(maybe a tad more) on the front straight easily. 996's are amazing.

link to a panoramic shot... it was early and the grid was light still.
