How to wire seperate check engine light?

Default How to wire seperate check engine light?

Hey guys I finally got my gauges in a want to elimanate the stock gauge cluster does any one know how I could wire a new check engine light and get rid of the one in the cluster?

is it as simple as looking at the wiring diagram in the owners manual and just splice in a new one?

It's that easy, just look at your wiring diagram. Run a wire from your ECU's MIL wire to your bulb of choice and a power source and you should be good to go.

While you're at it you can also wire a switch to the jumper plug so you can check engine codes and set timing without ever having to use a jumper wire.
