Try not to make us look *too* bad
Hrmmm...
I would imagine a few of the H1/H2 cars would make the track event very interesting...

So, is American Iron running a 13/13 rule? and if so, does that mean Honda-Challenge drivers will be on-track with them? It looked like they had some sort of payout rules for damages that occur between drivers.. As far as I know, Honda-Challenge rules haven't designated this yet? Maybe I'm reading it wrong(or too fast), but I never saw anything about the 13/13 rules for them.
Starnes and I are louder
I'm uncorking the exhaust next season (I hopefully won't have to drive to events next year...)V8's @ 7G's are loud. CAN'T WAIT!!
BTW - on the video I have, Scott, with you and I running the TT at the same time - you can't hear my car except when it passes start/finish. The rest of the time, you only hear a loud *** Teg. And Starnes, the in-car footage. I can only hear YOUR car over my IN-CAR cam... that's loud!!

Right now, I don't think we are running a 13/13, but the rules haven't been finalized yet.
hehe a little off topic in this thread, but Bryan your sister is in a project group with me here at Va Tech.
Stay away from my sister or I'll kick your *** at Speed Trial.
ha ha ha, just kiddin. So you're heading to that event? Excellent!!! Make sure you come and introduce yourself so I know whose *** to kick (still just kiddin). Have you done VIR full yet? If not, you're in for a treat. Have you done many of these events? Please do make sure you come say hello!
Looking forward to meeting the rest of you jabronees...

Apparently I need a proof reader.

Run groups will be based on car counts. Don't know who will be ruuning with who until about a week before each event. If you have the minimum car count, you get a run group. Otherwise, you will be included in NASA BB or SB.
What happens if a American Iron Car is hit by a FFR Cobra? Does the Cobra have to pay the American Iron for damages???
Grumpy

Good question...
Good question... not really sure (still new to this).

So much for the 13/13 rule then huh?
If you've been wondering why Karl and I are so focused on getting entries, this is why.
Chris has promised our own group if we field 15 to 20 cars minimum (depending on the track), based on what Karl and I are seeing now, these numbers certainly won't be a problem.
Now... if a multitude of people are full of **** and don't show to these events as they say they will, then yes, we get stuck in the small bore group and the 13/13 rule becomes pretty much unenforceable.
Sorry for invading your thread there 'zilla.

Also... thanks for the info last, Giles. Mucho appreciate it...
I believe the car count needs to be 20. We have other people looking for their own groups as well. It is imperative that you pre=register as early as possible so I know who is comeing and what the groups will look like.
I will be setting up the race groups about 7-10 days before each event based on car counts IN HAND at that time. Not to say things can't be changed, but this will be the general rule.
ALSO, some of the tracks will be enforcing sound rules next year. Each track can have a different requirement. Summit Point has advised us that they will be enforcing sound at 102db taken from BOTH sides of the track.
