Help needed from the pros
I just started auto crossing this year and have been doing a lot of research lately on suspension upgrades. My plan is to run stock till the end of the year and then get coilovers, LCA's, sway bars, and a front tower bar along with front and rear camber kits.
I'm looking to buy the following:
Benen tripod front tower bar
ASR 24mm swaybar & reinforcement kit
koni shocks with ground control coilovers (450-550?)
Function 7 rear lower control arms
Buddy Club P1 racing Rear Camber kit
I own a 1998 acura integra gsr with potenza re-11 tires. So my questions would be what are good spring rates for a street/track/autox car. I don't really care if the ride is stiff as long as the performance part is there. Also, will 24mm front and rear sway bars be an alright set up?
-what are good spring rates for my needs on koni/gc?
-how do koni/gc compare to PIC, and the pro-c's?
-What's the best coilover susp. for under 1200?
-24mm sway bar? overkill or just right?
Any and all opinions would be nice.
Thanks for your time

Give me a call at Special Projects Motor Sport I'm happy to give racers free advice and I might be able to stop you from wasting your money on Junk. I can probably point you in the right direction and you might end up with a decent competition car... I've always managed to have good DC2's.

mods can delete this, sorry for a wasteful thread.

Well what class do you want to run next year? Some of those mods will bump you out of ST* because you can only replace the upper rear OR lower rear control arms, you cannot replace both. And the tri-front strut brace is also illegal for ST*.

Sway bar is dependent on your driving style. Hard for anyone to dictate the sway bar settings so it's all by feel. 22/23mm ITR (US/JDM) sway bars are a very cost effective solution, but remember the subframe issues so do get a reinforcement brace kit. If you're getting our arms you can tune the sway bar somewhat (+10/0/-10% stiffness) until you find you sweet spot.
