I just started autocrossing last year. My 2004 rsx has coilovers, and that's about it for now.

I can't decide between a set of cheap rims (slips, rpf1's, or bc p1's) wrapped in azenis,

or

a good set of sways and struts to stiffen the chassis.

One of my friends suggested that I get new tires and rims for the front only, and get a rear sway.

Any suggestions are appreciated. TIA!

I would recommend a good set of tyres. Tyres are the only part of the car that touches the ground, after all.

Don't take advice from people who do not autocross.

 

I've seen several people with mismatches sets of rims and tires. I'm assuming this is for budget racers?
