Default HELP koni question

im thinking of buying some koni yellows with the koni springs and sleeves. does anyone have anything good bad to say? car is daily driver and i like to take some corners sometimes but not a serious road racer so dont want super suspension just something real nice quality and capable of being comfortable and sporty. i dont want cheap sh*t on my car so do you think this would be best? they come with the struts sleeves with adj collars and springs do i need anything else? thanks in advance.

Yes they do.

Despite whatever Honda marketing wants to call it, the technical term for a honda suspension is Strut-SLA.

besides, a strut is just another name for a dampener, so unless you pogo down the whole track you have struts

that will teach you to be a smartass, smartass!

ok guys maybe i should detail the question. using the koni yellow struts and koni coilovers am i going to get a good soft ride and sporty/firm feel if i want it or are the koni coilover springs stiff? i like a little of a firm ride but i dont want to feel like im in a freaking lowered truck and i dont want my interior to sound loud or start rattling cause its too firm. and quit arguing on my thread! jk

you may not be in the right forum to ask this question: we don't have any interior on our cars, and we tend to like it as stiff as possible!

But to answer your question anyway, I had yellows on my daily integra and they worked just fine. Just chose the proper spring rate.

edit: oh yeah, I am also running revalved yellows on the race car.

if by "dampener" you mean "damper" then yes...but not just another...a specific type of "damper"

-and yes, it is officially Smartass day on HT today....
