It's the std. 2 headset one transceiver PMC-3, uses 3 AAA batteries. A suggestion is to tape wrap the headphone plug / wire junction for reinforcement, before it gets mangled from repeated flexing and eventually shorts out.

So Nady had the PMC-3 for $25, but here you can get the same thing for $89.99. Or the lesser model for $69.99. That sucks but better than MSRP I guess.
I think for my next HPDS I'll just use a couple of tin cans and a piece of string...
