good beginner suspension programs?
i'm looking into purchasing a cheap suspension program...any recommendations?
i'm not looking to design my own suspension or anything, just want a program to help me understand more about the dynamic changes in camber, toe, and how the suspension moves etc.
would like to see:
-camber curve chart
-simulations
-roll centers <---i know it's not necessary and very dynamic...but the more options the better lol
-wheel rates <---also not necessary as i can do it by hand....but would be helpful when i'm just playing around with things
suggestions? trying to find a cheap program

ADAMS is expensive as fak, so no go unless you're a student. I believe that Carsim has a cheaper version of their normal simulation software so you could check that out too. I think Suspro3D is a good bet.
There's some Bill Mitchell software I forget the name of, and also Lapsim, which is free but doens't simnulate suspension kinematics.

Have heard good things about Susprog3. Haven't bought yet but they quickly responded to emailed questions, were helpful.
Do you have the attachment point coordinates for your car? Component dimensions? C of G? Measuring this stuff can be a royal PITA, so if you don't have a reliable source for it, I recommend looking into what's involved before spending the $$ - your curiosity to know the info may not match the effort required to get it.
