Default gettin' in deeper

I'm currently using a 90 CRX Si as a daily driver/autocrosser/trackday car. This year I have a "small" list of things I want to do and was hoping to get some input from all you Honda Tech people.
What's the best? What product line should I avoid? Any good performance shops in the NJ/PA/DE area?

Rollbar/cage? Is Kirk the best?
Racing seat (s)
5 or 6 pt harnesses
Shocks Koni single adjustables?
Minor/Major Front suspension rebuild... tierod ends, hubs/bearings & bushings
Rear Swaybar

Not trying to be super competitive in CSP with my daily driver, just an occasional nuisance.

Thanks in advance.

Just my opinion, mind. Others are just a valid.

No easy answer for this. Gotta use your head. Look at what the serious guys use. Do research. Use the search. There's plenty of good stuff out there.

I have an Auto-power 4-point rollbar with a harness bar in my daily driver. Full cage would be dangerous and inconvenient in a dd. Kirk or Auto-Power seem about the same. If you plan to race that car later, make sure the roll bar is DOM tubing, not ERW, and you can get the add-on kit to make it a full cage.

I've managed track days and autox OK without a "racing" seat, once I got the rollbar and harness. Most of the true race seats won't be that comfortable for a long drive. The reclining type are expensive and can't be used in a racecar

I use a 6-point cam-lock harness and it's good for the track, but make sure it's installed properly. Also, may not be street legal where you live, so keep the stock belts.

I like the Koni yellows, but others will work.

Minor/Major Front suspension rebuild depends on what shape it's in now. Only you know that.

As others will no doubt say, the best things to spend your money on are tires and practice.

This is MY opinion.

Considering the age of the car, I would do the suspension rebuild. I would use stock parts though. I think you will notice a massive difference. Then I would get used to driving/racing the car stock, get lots of driving time stock, choose a class, and build it to meet the requirements of the class. I made the mistake of modding the **** out of my car, and now I dont think it can be run in any reasonable SCCA class with out loosing lots of money on the parts I have installed, and spending lots rebuilding/restoring the car to meet specs.

Yeah, that is good advise, but the only problem is I'm already into CSP. I bought a set of Victroracers on a set of extra wheels, Borbet type Ts 14x7, for eventual IT racing. I'm also over stock in a few other areas as well.

- the recommendation for the type of rollbar has been very helpful - thank you!
