Default Front shimmy problem

Ever since I put on my V700's I've had this weird feeling from the front suspension/drive train. It basicly feels as if one tire grabs then the other, but not at the same time. This happens when I exit turns under wot. Some one suggested I turn down my Koni yellows to soft up front and upon doing that, the problem lessened but did not dissapear. Another person suggested that my front sway bar might be lose or too small. I checked when I changed out my wheels and it was fine. I have a 95 Civic Si and the only sus. mods I have are the shocks and the V700's. Should I get a 24mm sway bar from say an Integra, or is the problem more or less the open differential, and I should live with it?

Default Re: Front shimmy problem (HS killa)

The R-compound tires will make the car hunt much more than street tires, especially if you are running stock springs. That is the car trying to find grip. Now as for if it is a normal amount, I would have a veteran take your car for a run and feel what it is doing and determine if it is doing something out of the ordinary.
