Last year, I'd gotten to go to my first NASA autocross at the Marina Airfield in Monterey Bay, CA.

Then, a month or so later, I got my new springs and shocks put on my car, and was going to head to the autocross that week.

What did I get in the mail when I got home from installing the suspension, giddy with excitement for the race that weekend?

A postcard announcing the cancellation of the Auto-x series.

So, I've been checking their website off and on every couple of months, and I just remembered about it a few minutes ago so I went and checked the website, and BAM!!

They got the use of the lot back, and I missed this Sunday's event, but the next one is on the 29th.

Now I just have to get my front left wheel bearing taken care of and then I can FINALLY race on my new suspension.

Thank God.

Shiz, that means I need to get my car washed too...crap.

 

Clean car is not an autocross requirement. It's actually highly discouraged.

 

No no, see, it's so dirty at the moment, inside and out, that it's not a cosmetic thing, it's weight reduction.
