Final Drive ?
the higher the final drive the better... Example: JDM type R tranny is 4.785 whereas the usdm SI/GSR is 4.40. You can feel the difference big time between the gsr vs. the jdm type r. I love my SI tranny though, feels a lot like the JDM type R tranny, now all I need is an LSD...

personally, for autocross i run a itr trans with a ATS 4.928. you will need a 9,000 or more redline though. after topeka, i am going to experiment with a 9,500 redline.

The higher the number is numerically, the "lower" (shorter) the gearing will be, and the faster you will accelerate.
