that was the case at a few of the events I went to. no big deal.

 

My fisrt track event was a FATT. I have been hooked ever since. The have been known to ba a little crowded, but that is when you pit and ask for space.

I just bought George a brace to hold his arm in the permanent point by position, perr Ross's request

The instructors sorta walk out and get in whatever car they want to. They are required to change at least once during the day.

 

Thanks Grumpy, I had several instructors at my first FATT. I liked it, I was able to get pointers from a several instructors instead of just one.

Speaking of which, what's the usual mix of cars at these things? I'll consider going if I don't have to spend all my time dodging more over-powered monster cars than I see at NASA or Speedtrial, and if they'll let me run in group 2. I'll call this afternoon and see if my NASA and Speedtrial track day experience counts for anything with FATT.

I think I will, thanks. I got a set of Toyo T1-S's that I need to finish burning out before I get the V700's installed for the May 16th seat time.

 

Just called Summit Point, and was told I need to provide some type of evaluation from a previous event to get in group 2. They didn't <u>quite</u> say I might be making it up, but just barely. Oh, well. I have a email out to Jon Felton, to see if he can send me a copy of the eval Karl Shultz wrote up at the last Speed Trials event at VIR.

 

I talked to Jon about Jason about this same thing. He was more than willing to help out. Grumpy helped Ross with the same thing as well. Im not sure which group you are in with NASA, but might not hurt to call them.
