I am thinking about going to this event. There is a waiting list for the beginer group, but not for group 2. Anyone?

George, yes it looks like this is a go We have until the 19th to get the $175 price. After that its $185.

Sorry CJ, I just called and asked about instructing requirements. BSR has an instructors ( and for people whom are interested in instructing) meet in February to evaluate potential candidates. You may also request to be evaluated after you have been signed off to go solo in-group 2, AND have been recommended for "seat time".

Ross and others in intermediate groups with other clubs, you may submit your driving experience. BSR’s chief instructor will evaluate your driving history and determine if you qualify.

I've got the polished stainless version of Dave's Cat-back, a 4-1 header, pipe, Mugen computer, FPR, lightened flywheel and another couple things I can't remember at the moment, and would at least be knocking right on George's back door.

Just had an interesting conversation with my FV friend about the National at Summit.

 

Wow, I'm really tempted... What kind of seat time can we expect for our $175? I haven't done one of the FATTs yet.

 

Hey Ed, did you get your SSRs mounted yet? I'm curious to know how the tires fit on the 7.5" wheel. Are you running 205s?

Yes -- 205/50/15's (032R) , the guy @ tire rack said the 225/50's were flagged as causing problems so I'm going to see what the clearances are with these. I'm condidering having WagonWorks roll my rear fender lips if necessary for the 225/50's. Ed

I'll let you guys know how it all fits once I wax them up and put them on the car. Ed
