When ECHC is scheduled on a weekend with other racing series, is it just ECHC on the track or other events also? I was looking at the ECHC website and noticed a legend car in one of the pics on the same track as ECHC.

My main reason for asking is I know ECHC has the 13/13 rule but other series may not. Therefore other cars may try bonehead moves. I like the 13/13 rule, it allows for real racing and penalizes bonehead moves that I hear about in IT or SM classes in SCCA (maybe some NASA classes also). (My statements are all from what I have read and heard, I haven't raced, yet, so please correct me if I am wrong.)

We put this stuff on the web site for a reason.

Basically, we still have the same philosophy, we just don't call it 13/13 anymore. Turns out that NASA already does 99% of what we had in mind.

I previously downloaded the NASA 2003 rules and I thought the current ECHC rules, but they were 2002 rules.

np. If you are not planning to come out until next year, look over the National rules as well. ECHC will be folded into the National rule set next year.

Don't wait until 04 to get to the track. Come out and crew a few races or HPDE.. There are a few of us NJ-NY-PA guys who could use another (one) crew person.

We all can't have the cool electic blue R&D motorsports Formula one style pit crew!!

There are about 10 of us from the NYC area who have ITR's who do HPDE's. I think a few were thinking of crewing for R&D at Hyperfest? Anyway, send me an email and we can work something out.

I believe the 2003 CMP race was the first ECHC race where we shared the track with ohers, though we had previously practiced with others (both Lowes and VIR in 2002 come to mind).
