Default ECHC at CMP

One month from today we will all be driving down to CMP for the first ECHC race. With the race being so close, I've started wondering about the grid, so I thought it would be fun to start this poll/thread.

For those of you that are RACING in the Honda-Challenge at CMP on April 20th and 21st , please vote for the class that you will be competing in, and add a message if you want saying your name, car, and class. If you are not RACING in the Honda-Challenge at CMP on April 20th and 21st, please do not vote or reply to the thread. I only want to see the grid for this particular race.

Thanks!

by the way, if you know that somebody is racing with us, but they aren't on the list, feel free to do a proxy vote in their place. If you do that though, say who you are voting for in a post so we don't have two people doing the same proxy vote. I'm hoping to keep this as accurate as possible.

See you there guys!!

If I can ever get out of the RRG shop!!!

Where is everyone staying? I need to make reservations! When do we need to register?

Matt are we still driving down together? I think I'm leaving south Jersey maybe 6-7AM Friday. Also, I met your Friend Dave at Davis Acura. Real nice guy. I dropped off some pieces at his Dealership.

Later.

AFAIK registration has not opened yet. No idea about the hotel plans - anyone?

I'd always rather drive down with somebody - especially for a trip THIS long. I was going to leave my house (about 10 miles SW of Philly) somewhere between 7 and 8, so we are pretty close in terms of timing. We just have to figure out where to meet up.

Also, I met your Friend Dave at Davis Acura. Real nice guy. I dropped off some pieces at his Dealership.
Yeah, Dave is a great guy. You know, I never asked him to sponsor me, he just offered to out of nowhere. It's amazing how well he drives with only one hand. He probably would have given you a tour of his car collection, but they are all in storage for the winter (his Integra racecar, his supercharged Type R, and his supercharged Zanardi NSX).

Alex Muresan, H4 CRX. Don't have a registered number for the echc yet, so I'll be making one out of tape at the track. (My regular ita number is 2, or 21). Looking forward to seeing a nice Honda field at CMP!

And I refuse to lose to Shultz in the first race. Dammit.

A few proxy votes for folks that don't frequent this website. Based on verbal commitments. These don't show up in the poll because it'll only let me vote once.

Registration forms aren't available yet. They'll be at http://www.honda-challenge.com as soon as NASA makes them available.

Hotel - Executive Inn. Kershaw. It will fill up and it's the only place close to the track. Get reservations now. Anybody have the phone number handy? I don't.

Wow! That is a great distribution across the classes! That is what I was trying to find out. I'm amazed Ken Buchel is coming all the way down for this one. I race with him with EMRA. He is VERY smooth, and that car is light as anything! I'm usually faster than him, but the last race at the Glen last year, I couldn't touch him when I had the wrong tires on. Should be fun!

I guess were all staying at the same place. I'm THERE!!!!! 50 bucks a night for a room with two single beds isn't bad!!!

Matt,

I would love that Friday test day at CMP, but it's a lot to ask of the crew to miss one day of work yet ask for another ( Thursday off )........ I then might be driving down alone!

Everyone, prepare to be "R0lLeD!"
Prelude's (AKA: Tank) got some mods comming, so all of you will really have some problems getting around the heaviest car on the track... hehehehe, hahahaha
