Ebrake ??
I was wondering about if its legal to go into the main Hairpin and pull the ebrake in a FWD car. I know personally i wouldnt do it cause there are ppl out on the track (if any cones are knocked down) and i def dont wanna danger there lives and my own either. Just wonderin if there is a Rule on that and have ppl actaully pulled the ebrake and came out of the turn sucessfully made it thru?? Plus it slows ya down if you did pull the ebrake and F*** up your tires (had to put the stars in front but you know what im gettin at).
Do you mean for autocross? I've seen people do it. As far as I know there's no rule against it, but like you said it's slow. No point IMO. For hairpins just enter really slow, get really wide, and apex really late. You'll feel like your going really slow, but guess what... hairpin corners ARE slow.
One of the races I was in had some really tight pivot cones that I kept understeering on, finally I said screw it and ripped up the e-brake on them. It was a lot of fun and it earned me some style points among the spectators, but I was slower overall.

Yep. Some of the best advice I've heard about breaking down an autoX course: there are fast parts and there are slow parts, learn the difference.

The one and only autocross that I actually won had a cone that required a 270* direction change around it. I actually disconnected the ratchet mechanism on my handbrake lever and looked out of my open side window to see when my front tires cleared it - yank - and around I went...
Granted, you wouldn't find this kind of silliness on a "real" soloII course, I don't think.
