Currently driving a eg6, appreciate it's lightweight and double wishbone suspension design. It has a b18c1 and Koni yellow. However there are many cons, for example bad left axles, dented fender and making knocking noise while making tight right turn...
Now I found a good deal on a dc2 gsr, but salvage (will check that caused by theft or collision later). I was thinking to turn my eg6 to be a track day only car, but the appearance of the dc2 makes me confused!!!! I owned 2 dc2 before, although they share similar suspension technology but the feel of handling with really really different. I won't keep 2 Honda, which I should go for (consider i just want a trackday car). Ps: eg6 chasis is tired as it had almost 200000mileages. Give me some advises Honda experts please!!!

eg6 or dc2!!?? Anyways...I saw people in Asia use dc2 rather than ef and eg in the N group racing (of course they are using DC5 and FD2 now...lol)
Oy, this again.
Shortest answer: Search. User "Which car" for your search term.
Next shortest answer: It doesn't matter for what you're doing. At all.
I can't believe you listed maintenance items as "cons". You HAVE to get that **** fixed before going out on track, so it doesn't matter. Similarly, you HAVE to do a mild maintenance once-over on ANY car you take on track, and should really really REALLY have newish brakes and tires. I'm sure a salvage yard anything will need some work too.
Lastly, FYI, the suspension design is identical between the EG and DC. The difference is in the length of the wheelbase.
