Default CSP and obd conversion question

right now im in CSP and have a 91 crx si, i want to ultimately convert to obd1 use ITB and use a stock p06 ecu with hondata, im am reading the rules and

<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by scca rulebook &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">
14.9 Electrical System
Any ignition setting adjustment or system may be used. An original ignition sensor on a cam cover may be removed, and the hole plugged. This may serve no other purpose. (3/2002) </TD></TR></TABLE>

does that mean i can have it tuned to the engines characteristics?

<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">Wiring harnesses may not be removed in whole or in part. Wiring connectors for emissions control devices are considered part of the harness, not part of the emissions control system, and may not be removed. </TD></TR></TABLE>

there isnt anything saying about adding emissions though?

i would definatly like to know so when i do changes i dont get called a cheater or whatever for tring to go into a "lower" class...

That's all fine. You don't have to pass smog.

well id still be using the stock d16a6, i just figure it would be easier to get tuned and running properly with a good tuner and most use hondata, for that i have to be obd1...

ECU, ignition, and intake are completely open in SP.

For instance, look at the 84-87 Civic/CRX guys running without the oem ECU with a full electromotive system that completely bypasses even the distrubutor.

You should be fine as long as you don't remove any part of the stock wiring harness. IE, if you add a OBD1 harness, you'll have to leave the stock one there as well.
