Completed

I most likely will not be at laguna again this year, R-Crew is having an event that month that I must be at.
Im being limited to 1 event per month at the moment.
Hotel, gas, food, msc expenses.
Thanks man, a ton of time and thought has gone into it.
Thank you Sir!
My gesture to others on track with me; keep mine looking clean and functionally safe.
Out of respect for others on track, I hope this sends everyone a signal that I play hard AND safe.

Its never completed!
Try just sealing the rear underside for now, the coupes have a lot of room back there to create a parachute affect.
You could make a very trick bendable aluminum piece to cover the whole area back there ($30 bucks). The hatchbacks from 92-95 have a simple piece for the non muffler side that was offered on the vx model for fuel efficiency. A rear diffuser should be properly tested and have data to back up that it actually is doing good and not creating extra drag, which I doubt most of these companies do.
Im assuming you want the functionality of a rear diffuser and not just for the looks. You should be creating plenty of downforce/drag with your current setup, I would consider just sealing that area and doing testing. Then if you feel you still need more downforce add the vertical pieces to create more.
Something like this:

just my 2 cents.
Also, did you see any difference with your cop setup in terms of whp? I have been debating this for awhile with some people on the benefits of using this system and why it should be allowed in an scca class.

There is the Special Project rear defuser which to me seems a tad crude, not sure it will fit my needs as there is a bunch of bumper work needed to make it work well or look good.
Anyone?
Sounds like a lot of work for kiwis product, but Im sure he has testing in it.
The issue with cop is reliability, by adding reliability its a "performance increase" basically. The verbiage has one line or else I could have run the Hondata setup that gets its signal from the distributor...but since it doesnt fire from the actual distributor its not allowed....that one line gets you...
That is why i want it, the stupid Honda distributors as you have experienced are prone to failing in race environments...maybe its the heat in Cali and Fl more than anything, I dont know. I didnt figure you would really have any whp out of it, maybe just a cleaner powerband and better spark/fuel..
Setup has come along nicely, Im sure its a blast to drive.

Well, there are some cars that could really actually benefit from a cop setup. The rules have to be looked at for everyone, not just the Hondas. Some guy always stretches the rule and is kicking everyone's *** with a turdcell from 82 because you opened pandoras box lol. ECUs are open, that introduced motec into 115whp cars...that wasnt exactly what they were trying for. So, I get the strictness but it sucks to a point.
those Brake Ducts are still on the list of things to get to one day, unfortunately that day seems to keep getting pushed back. We are working on test fitting the ones we have on other cars we have at the shop (they were originally built for 5 lug ITR's) but we would like to build them to fit all the popular EG, EK, DC etc chassis's so we only have to have one part #
