Default Clutch Selection

I have a 93 Integra DD that I plan to track occasionally; however I will be running a 7lb Fidanza Flywheel.

I need a clutch that'll last, handle 250-300hp (car will be turbo'd), and not eat through the surface of the flywheel. I've read specifically that some clutches can have this effect on fidanza flywheels... which clutch should I go with?

I used an Action 2MD on my turbo ITR. It worked well.

I've been looking for a while, and I think that the best one for me is the 6puck ACT

All I'm worried about is the wear on the fidanza flywheel surface, anyone have any experience with this clutch or like ones and the fidanza flywheel?

i like the 4-6 puck act clutches with a heavy duty pressure plate.. i run a 4 puck solid hub with a hdpp in my turbo single cam street car with no problems clutch has been on the car for 40k

my all motor car has a clutch masters stage 2 and i ******* hate it... at high rpms it wont disengage... at idle it has the normal pedal freeplay and when its at 7000rpms the clutch pedal has to be on the floor to disengage.. and if i take it to 9k i have to let the rpms fall to get it in gear..

ive bled the system and everything.. i would honestly stay away from them, unless your getting a stock setup other then that, clutchspecialties located in fullerton is the ****.. thats who i go through to get my act setups and its a pretty good deal

good luck

A segmented Kevlar disc and heavy duty pressure plate (CM's FX300 HDTZ or comparable) should hold that much power and will definetely not eat up the flywheel. That's what we've had in our EG for over a year and just pulled it to replace a bad pilot bearing. The pressure plate and flywheel had NO wear at all.
