Default clutch pedal quickly diminishing...

a week ago my car was normal.
two days ago i noticed that there was a significant amount of extra 'play' in the pedal before it actually started engaging.

today there is even more play.. and the clutch is all the way at the floor.

what is the problem? and is it weather related? last winter this didnt happen..

Bleeding the clutch would be a good first start, but I think I've heard of your scenario happening before and it involved replacing something - hopefully I'm wrong, though.

Probably a spring in the hub that took a dump.
