currently i have a b16a in my civic and im in SM for solo II auto x and i was thinking about doing a b20vtec, will this put me in a new class? and does it matter if the bottom end is built, will that make me change classes too?

 

Same class, doesnt matter what you do with the motor since you're already in street mod. b00st it

As RJ said, you can boost the mother and still stay in SM.

ive been autoxing for about 2.5 months with a B20Z and i have to tell you i love it. i used to have a d16y8 and it was **** compaired to this engine.

mate the B20 with a LS tranny. I out run my buddy with a B16/OEM LSD all the time, 0-60-/30-60/60-90- 1/4 mile, and thats only 1 wheel turning. Imagine if I had LSD!
