Autox Alignment Setup Help
I have a 96 Ek hatch with a k24 and going to an auto x this weekend, wondering if anyone has a recommendation on specs i can start with to setup my hatchi. I have front and rear camber kits, rear toe adj, front and rear swaybars and omni full coilovers. Wont be able to corner balance the car before the race, but def not trying to make the hondas look bad out there. Thanks for your help.
If you are still new to autocross I would just stick with 0 toe front and back. Get the car around -2.0 front camber and -1.5 rear.
Also you can get the car close to 50/50 cross weight without corner weighing equipment. Just put your weight in the driver's seat. Find a garage or flat surface and get all the corners (floor to fender or fender to center of wheel hub) within about 1-2mm.
I've done this to my cars and was only off for cross-weights about .3-.5%. Which is like 5-10lbs.

Just make sure you have a good alignment and have fun.
Personally I would start with a stock car and make upgrades as needed. Just out of curiosity what are your spring rates?

how do you measure how tall the corners are if the bottom of the car is all dented and scratched, and the fenders/quarter panals are all beat with a baseball bat?
all 4 jack points are messed up and folded over from bad hydro jacks, so how would i figure my right height in mm's all around?
Ah. Well, you can find some kind of unmarred part on the underbody to measure for yourself, but it'll be difficult to compare to others under the circumstances.

hey op, if this was for the erscc event at pbir i think i might have a couple pictures of you car(red, says P2R on the side). its not my best work but i can pm or put them here if you like
I started with those alignment settings running Hoosiers on 13x8.5 Panasports. Not enough camber front or rear. I ended up at -2.5F, -2.1R, 1/8 total toe out F, 0 toe R. (I am running stock SI front sway, ASR 26mm rear).
i'm new to auto-x and having trouble finding the technical reasoning behind toe/camber setups. so would the above camber setup provide better turn in response and improved stability in cornering? any other benefits? thanks.
