Either way, this angle sure make T12 seem tight!
It was running in SPU - Super Production Under (don't actually know the meaning of the acronym). I *think* it is 2.0L and under class (don't take my word on that, I have heard it is sub 2.5L and also have heard it is sub 3.0L - thus my uncertainty) vs. SPO which is the Over class for larger displacement.
Totally unrelated, they ran with the IT Trucks which (cause I am goof) I think are way cool.
Here: (from the ARRC site - http://www.arrc-online.com/carclasses.html)
SPO-SPU
SEDiv wide closed wheel vehicles from other series. The displacement separate for Over "O" (2000cc and above) and Under "U" (1999cc and below) and all Turbo or Supercharged vehicles will run in SPO.

If I am not mistaken SPO/SPU was set up for all the old World Challenge cars that were no longer eligible for competition since the WC has a 5 or 6 year limit on the age of the vehicle.
SPO/SPU are pretty much catch all classes. If it doesn't fit in any of the regular classes, you can run SPO/SPU depending on the engine displacement. In SPU you'll see everything from Baby Grands (which usually dominate), World Challenge Cars, and everything in between. In SPO, you'll see a lot of big bore Trans-Am, stock cars, Porsches, etc.
