It takes a certain mind set and income level to race cars and to find both in a progressive minded individual isn't as common as a conservative minded one. At least that's what I've seen and experienced at the track talking to fellow racers.

No, I know one or two other people who might fit this category, but certainly not me.

I've wondered about this also.

I even made a thread not too long ago:

https://honda-tech.com/forums/showth...ighlight=Angle

I think it would benefit me for autox by tightening the turning radius.

I already have a quaife geared steering rack for fewer turns lock to lock, but that obviously doesn't have any effect on max angle.

The next time I get an alignment, I'm going to put some small washers in there (maybe 1/4-1/2" thick) and see how it feels.

I'll measure max angle also.

1: Merely curious as to WHY anyone needs MORE steering in a FWD car. Easy, tiger.

2: My mental picture of people talking on the internet loses a tooth for every misspelled/misused word I read in a post. (you're not your... ehhem) ...keep the dental plan.

3: Cool.

To those of you mentioning quickners and racks, I'd just like to point out that steering ratio is not the same as steering lock.

I'm sure you all knew that and were posting in a purely satirical manner, but just in case...

I'm sure they know it. They're the same people that are inquiring why one would increase steering angle.

I'm sure you could sort your problem with a more aggressive toe alignment.
