Hey earl. are these a drop in replacement for a b16 head? or do i need to change guides? (heard that's a bitch and expensive) I've heard some valves need bigger keepers, do these?

Well strength is a pretty good reason in itself
They also resist the higher temperatures generated by boosting and are lighter than stock for quicker and higher rpms.

We use them in our race motors. The dished are lighter and the flat give you more compression ratio for all motor applications. I also use the Supertech valve springs and retainers and have decided to start selling them now, also.
I believe all the tips of the stems are hardened at the factory but I know about no hardened stem options. Not sure how necessary that would be.
