Yes this will work for an LS. You only need one hose, you have a choice of steel braided and black.

Payday Friday and I want to get this 5-speed swap done next week. Picture has me to believe it's not -all- the way to the master cylinder, just the midpoint at the firewall?

The line is 4.5 ft. long and goes from the master cylinder to the slave cylinder.
