Default what type a bit

i recently picked up my Carbon Fiber, and i was told that its recommended to place hood locks or something extra than the original hood latch due to the hood being so light.
Wonderin is their a specific drill bit for this for making the wholes i dont want to crack it?

i did mine with a simple metal bit. a VERY sharp metal bit though. using low rpm's and very low pressure. just slow and steady.

unless you've got a cheap hood you shouldn't need to. VIS and Siebon (sp?) shouldn't need any extra pins.

having hood pins with a CF hood is added security. I would hate for that to fly up on the highway.
