what stuff to use on bumper?
shoud i use the bondo on my civic front bumper, would it be good. i'm just using it to fill up the scratches that i have on my bumper and to fill up the holes that holds the license plate.
use SEM flex putty, I think the product number is 39482

If your filling holes, you really need to do it right to make it look good after paint and lessen the chance of it cracking easily or sinking in. Your not going to get away with just using a glaze filler. You should use some type of epoxy repair kit for flexible bumpers around the back side. Then very thin flexible glaze coat on the front side of the bumper.
i speak from experience... but theres this thing called "Rage Gold".. and i HIGHLY recommened using that..

Yeah. the flex puddy is only good for small things like scratches, rock chips, ect.

I wouldn't use Rage Gold either in this case, misapplication imo. I would use Poly-Flex for a skim filler on a flexible bumper, also a good 2K primer w/ flex additive if available.
For overhauling a bumper I prefer to buzz it down really good, fill anything too deep for high build primer to fill, which at that point shouldn't be much, then finish prep, prime. The less filler the better.
