Default side molding

When i bought my car it came with no side molding. I was thinking about buying all new molding for it but then i was thinking about smoothing the molding out with some fiberglass What do you guys think would it be a good idea? would it even look good? If anyone has some pics of someone who did this could you please post them.
My car is a 1990 ef hatch

so the car doesn't have side molding but it does have a slot, right?

what do you mean by smoothing out side molding?

are you plannnig to shave the molding slot by putting fiberglass over it?

if you shave it at least leave the slot there. It looks mad lame for a honda with no moldings. Look into some jdm side moldings for somethin different.

any crappy job will be wavy, it doesnt have anything to do with shaving molding.

you can get crappy result with a perfect blocked car if you suck enough.

the 2001+ civics didn't come with side molding. i think they look good.

my friend had his side molding shaved on this 99 ex. it looks real good but he had a pro do it. the guy welded thin strips of metal of the "dip" then went back over and smoothed it all out.

if you just stuff some fiberglass and/or bondo in it. it will just crack and fall out over time.

if i cam i will get a picture of it and put it up.
