Default Rust, need advice

So I got this 91 DA less than a month ago and the only thing wrong was a few dings and these rust spots. He said someone swiped him about a month ago and he lives in SF about a mile away from the ocean so it started rusting. It doesn't look bad at all and I was going to let it be until i looked at some of the horror stories here on G2ic. I was wondering if I should
A. Act Now or else it's over
B. Save until i got a good amount of money and do it.
C. It'll be fine for now...

Is this something I can do myself with a walk through or should i pay a shop for sure? There are also some tiny rock chips maybe .5mm big that are rusted. Couldnt' get a picture cause they're so small but should i get those fixed too? Thanks for the help

here's some pics. Let me know.

its really up to you and what you want to do.

for a cheap fix to stop the rust i would sand down the rusted area with the corner of a folded sheet of sandpaper and sand out the rust and dab some touchup paint on it to prevent the rust from spreading. ($10 for a sheet of sand paper and small touch up bottle)

Or, if you want to do it the right way and take it to the shop, looks to be about 1200-1500$ worth of work.
