Does anyone know when the honda rear quarter panel rust problem was fixed? If so what year? I've noticed that eg's tend to rust more than ek's. And i don't want to deal with a lot of rust problems anymore. Thanks

 

i think it was with the 98-up years, not 100% positive though. and i have had rusted hondas, just i always get them fixed first thing because they bother the fock out of me. 500 bucks for welding new pieces of metal on my old prelude, including all new fabbed rocker panels, looked really good

 

Yea i have a 94 ej2 and its starting to rust up fast, so thats why i was thinking about finishing this project and then moving on to an ek.

 

yea talk about it. i got an 88 crx si slow moving project right now. rusted out rocker panels, and a little on quarter panels, but for an 88 in ohio its not bad at all

 

My 99 was starting to rust out on the rear quarters. I washed it atleast once a week in the winter when i owned it too, previous owner must not have... i traded it in though before it got too bad.

 

like around 2000,but it hasnt really been long enough to really tell,but id say just find something rust free,because rust sucks to fix and deal with
