Alright guys i need your help, im going to start repainting my bumper because of rock chips. I need to know the steps in perping and painting a bumper. Im not sure if my steps right but please correct me if im wrong.

Sanding
Adhesion Promoter
Flex Prime
Sand with high grit
Base coat
Clear coat

 

that is the basic procedure yes. i would add sealer in there as well.

clean
prep for primer
clean
adhesion promoter
primer
prep for paint
clean
adhesion promoter
sealer
base
clear.

dont always have to use a promoter but it helps no the less....impatient hit the nail on the head tho
