Default Radiator support .....

Is bent out of shape. This happened when i first got this car years back, i lost control and hopped a curb.....dont ask, freak accident.

So anyway, i was wondering can this be straightened out or does it need to be replaced?

are you talking about the bottom crossmember how its rolled in a little? hows the body lines with bumpers and fenders?

my car was in the same sort of accident before i got it. the top support w/ hood latch was shifted to the left. the headlights dont line up

i am going to use a comealong and straighten it all out today or tommorow.
go to a bodyshop and have somebody tell you where to pull from and what to do. save some money

no its not even that bad, the body lines up just fine as do the headlights, just the radiator is backed up a bit and im afraid it might hit my manifold or downpipe. Ill have somebody look at it, a friend of mine told me to wrap a rope around it and around a tree and go in reverse until it is straight! haha ghetto

I was trying to figure out what you were talking about and then I looked really close. You are talking about the lower rad support. I think you would have one hell of a time trying to straighten that with out a frame machine.
You could try to bang it out with a big hammer but that is just going to make it all bashed up. Best thing to do is to replace it.

Those lower tie bars aren't that strong, you could pull it with a tree and a rope.(seriously) Just back it up a little at a time until you have the desired length. You could also use the jack for your car to push it out. Put a block of wood in between the front of the tranny and the jack, and the other end on the back side of the tie bar and crank until she rolls out Other more professional methods would be to use a port-o-power, friction jack, pogo stick, come-along, 5-10 ton ram........easy fix
