Default Question on carpeting

I've searched on cleaning interior, and I've found your basic upholstery scrubbers and steam cleaners etc, but I have my carpet out.

Would it be ok to pressurewash at like half pressure? I can mix cleaner in with it as it sprays, I wouldn't think that it would tear the carpet apart, has anybody in here done it?

I have also found that it is extremely easy to get stains out of carpeting by using OxyClean.
There is a very detailed explanation of how to do it by one of the detailing gurus, Sean Busch, AKA G35Stilez.

Thanks guys.

I used Greased Lightning, with the pressure washer, and it worked, bu not all that great. I'm going to try the OxyClean next and read that write up. If it works well enough, I'll post before and after pics
