Default Paint Curing

We picked up our 2010 Pilot last night, when we pulled it in our garage we noticed (under the lights and not noticeably in the sun) on the roof of the car white marks (almost like spilled coffee stains). I brought the car back to the dealer this morning and was told by a technician that the paint under the plastic (which he had removed yesterday) had not yet cured and would probably take about 2 weeks but the marks should disappear as the paint cures. He said parking it in the sun would help. He said this sometimes happens on light colored cars. Is this true or am I getting the run around. Thanks for any help you can give.

thats a bunch of crap... The paint was fully cured the day it was painted. They are probably hoping you just forget about it. Take it back and tell them they need to clay bar it and detail it for you again.

Thanks for you advice. They had the car for 3 days and were unable to fix it. We got a new car. Thanks Again!

What he is saying is true. Honda says that it could take up to a week for the milky spots to go away after the wrap has been removed. In fact they will not pay to have anything like that in the paint corrected until you have waited that time. I work for a dealership and tried to find where the memo was but was unsuceesful. If I run across it I will post it.

What wrap exactly are you talking about? And I work in a body shop and have never seen that. I've seen some clouding in clear due to bad activators. But it was only on dark colored cars and it never went away after it cured. It had to be repainted.
