Black is the hardest color to get perfect.

^^^This is very true, what's considered "easy" can be a matter of opinion. IMO black, especially solid black/ dark solids are very easy and forgiving to paint, as in the application of the paint, the spray process. Black tends to have good coverage ability also. Dark solids have totally different painting/spraying characteristics than a heavy metallic which can be more difficult for noobs, depending on their skill level an knowledge base. However, repair/bodywork that is not perfect or not done right will be way more noticeable on a black vs. white, which is very common knowledge. This just my opinion which may differ from others. There is a difference between describing the painting/spraying process vs over all, characteristics of a paint job/repair in general.

black? what type of black?

black is easy to paint, esp solid color, you don't have to mess with the metallic flow, etc.

but the worst thing about black is the body work, if you have a low spot on there that you didn't block out, it will show up big time. it's just the contrast with light and shadow
