i need to do a quick rattle can job on some fenders. I'm going to use some lacquer paint, and some lacquer clear once everything is all said and done. My question is what can you use to clean the surface from grease and what not. I know denatured alcohol, and lacquer thinner melts the old lacquer paint...

 

walk into the paint section of any walmart or any paint store. they all sell wax and grease removers/ surface cleaners/degreasers. thats what you use to clean surfaces.
