Integra type R complete repaint
Hi !
I have bought an 1998 ITR CW with jdm front end at the end of the summer and decided to do a nice job to it ! Since it had dentsand waves almost everywhere and little rust on the floor !
Here how she was sitting at the beginning

After I started stripping it to bare chassis and removed everything

To get rid of any waves i bought some 32" long board sander one flex and one don't

Inside sand blasted and sanded ... ready for primer

Now epoxy primer first than surfacer primer ....

NOw i need to prime engine bay and little brackets and others things than scuff primer
And i will be ready to shoot basecoat /clearcoat inside and start to sand exterior panel ...
I will update while i work on it

well...if youre gonna put in all the work, you might as well. you don't want bondo stuff bleeding through the paint..
i never used it on the first car i painted, and it didn't show thru.
the second car im painting now...we're doing a color change...red to white and i feel like sealer is a must so the red underneath doesn't try to bleed thru into the white. but we've used plenty coats of hi-build primer + sealer and i don't think it will be a problem..
(my friend recently did paint a coupe from black to white...he used really cheap primer i guess and after he painted it, cleared it, wet sanded, and buffed it, a week later the shitty primer bled thru and looked yellow
