Hi, im in the process of painting my valve cover, but i cant seem to remove the seals underneath my d-series valve cover, is there anyway of removing them, ive tried to pull them off from the inside and outside, not sure if there glued or something. any help would be helpful, also if i have to rip them off where can i buy new ones. And if this is in the wrong section please let me know ill have it moved.

are you talking about the black rubber circles ? those are your tube seals, and they should come off, they are probably just fused to the metal from being on the valve cover so long under pressure and heat,just rip em off. You can get new ones at honda for under a dollar a piece. You can get them at an auto parts store but your normally have to buy the entire valve cover set if you want them, which may not be a bad idea if your pulling your cover off.
