ok so i have some paint sitting around that i used to paint my side skirts its cover green pearl or what ever, its Honda paint i got from the dealer. i wanna paint my valve cover to match my car. so my question is if i lay a few coats of high temp primer and then put down a few coats of the clover green and some clear would it chip or flak off b/c of the heat or would i be ok? and how many coats of each do you think i should use to be safe?? thanks for any help or advice
