CRX: Undo painted moldings / black trim?
See the picture below. Is it possible to UNDO the red painted moldings, and make them like the original black again? How would I go about doing this?
Any information would be helpful. I have TONS of mechanical and technical experience, but body work is something I have no experience with (yet).

Yeah, that's not my car, though.
I've seen the SEM black bumper spray. But I'm in the same boat as you; I want to know how/if I can strip the paint of the original black moldings/trim and have them restored back to original. It's the bumper I'm concerned with.

Understood. I want "back to OEM finish" after the stripping w/o the use of any trim paint. Dunno if that is a reality or just a wish. :/
Short answer - no. Once painted properly, bare plastic parts will never be able to be returned to how they looked before paint, especially if they are textured pieces. You may be able to remove the paint but you will undoubtedly mar the surface somehow in the process, no matter what method you use to strip the paint off.
You can easily get them repainted with the appropriate black and use a textured clear over top of it and it will be very hard to tell it apart from a factory piece. The major difference is that it will be perfect for the life of the paint job, whereas bare plastic can fade .

I've had that exact same problem, and heres what you should do for cheap and fantastic results.
Get these :

Spray the stripper on, wait for the paint to bubble and peel it off. Ive left it on overnight before and IT DID NOT DAMAGE THE PLASTIC. I used only the spray on kind, not the thick kind in the can, cus im sure its a higher concentration and would damage the plastic.
After all the paint was off, I washed it real good and sprayed the trim paint. It looks awfully sexy. all for around 15$ and some work.
