So i got a 89 crx hf, for cheap, it has rust but has a bondo job on it now, and its starting to crack and what not, i hate the fact knowing its bondo, car is just about ready for the road just a couple more things needed. i would like to have my buddy put in the quarter panel patches that are found on ebay for me, but i am looking for a DIY so we dont screw it up. if anyone could help itd be appreciated ! would like to have this done so i can get it painted !

There is a thread about it, cant remember if its on here or another honda forum. I have done it on a eg hatch. It wasn't easy it took 2 of us 4 hours so 8 hours total. Make sure you know someone fairly proficient with body filler so they can help you finish it out. Cut the hole on the car small first like 1 inch small then go back and re trace off the patch panel for the final cut. You definitely don't want a big gap to weld up, make sure your welder isn't too big. Mine is a millermatic 175 and even on the lowest setting it was burning thru the panels. Had to go borrow a smaller welder.
