Are these 3 paint color codes the exact same color?
YR523M - Champagne Beige Metallic - This one is found on the 99 civic
YR524M - Naples Gold Metallic - This one is on the 02 civic
YR525M - Titanium Metallic - This is on the 00 civic

I have the 2000 Civic and I was gonna look for my paint, but the only one I can find is the 2002 Civic paint code.

Is it best for me to go to the dealership and buy my paint from them or is it ok to use the 02 civic color code on my 00 civic?

 

they're all different codes. if you use the wrong one you'll end up with mismatched panels. just look in your door jamb and find your exact code. all hondas have the code printed on a small white sticker in the jamb like this:
